What is the buying process for your roofing service?

We usually ask customers about the age of the building, square footage, the existing roofing material, what materials they may like to use for the new one, and then we do an estimate.

What’s the first thing you look at for when a customer complains about a leaking roof?

The first thing we look at is the flashing, as this is the first fail point.

.

What’s the time frame for a roofing process?

Repairs take a day, depending on size, sometimes two.  A 3000 sq ft, for example, takes about 2 weeks. And If you want to strip off the old and do a new one, it will be longer

It also depends on the type of roofing material. Vinyl, cement, wood all have their own process.

.

Do you ever recommend one product over another in terms of price?

It all depends on the client’s budget, but we always try to pick the best products on the customer’s price class. Although we have financing options, we offer construction loans. So, as the client, you can get the best quality products and pay in bits.

How do you do roof assessments?

In terms of assessing, we can do virtual, on-site(in-person), which attracts a small fee. Although in-person is more thorough. Here, we climb the roof, check connections, chimney, protrusions, materials, and the general structure of the building,

For virtual, it’s all about seeing the problem from our computer. This is usually for seeing what is out there and giving people a general idea, but it isn’t thorough. We use it to get a ballpark figure.

Lastly, you can also take a picture and send them to us to render a 3D image of your roof. This is coming in the future, though.

What other services does APR do?

APR also does Framing, Kitchen/Bathroom remodels, Windows, Gutters and Garage doors Installation.

In what state do you leave the areas you’ve worked on?

A: We know there would always be debris left after we’re done working, so we rake, shovel, and magnetize nails. We try to make it look like we were never there, except for the roof.
